All of us at Silksoundbooks would like to wish our star audio book reader Oliver Cotton a very happy birthday.
Oliver was born on June 20th 1944 in London, England and is a highly regarded actor, well known for his work on stage, screen and television. He has worked extensively at the
Royal National Theatre, the
Royal Court Theatre and was a founder member of
Joint Stock.
Oliver has appeared in may West End productions and played the title role in King Lear at the
Southwark Playhouse. Recently he played Malvolio in the
Globe Theatre's production of Twelfth Night.
With his many film and television appearances,
Oliver Cotton is a very busy man and we were delighted that he found time to record the
Thomas Hardy classic
