Bloody battlefields are her marketplace, her wagon, her stall.

This modern-dress production keeps faith with Brecht's staging theories - the play opens with the stage swarming with technicians and stage hands - the inner workings of the production are on show for all to see. There are explosions, live music and lighting fit for a rock concert.

This epic production - it runs for over three hours - of Mother Courage and Her Children runs until December 6th.
