We're celebrating another birthday here at Silksoundbooks. Today it's the turn of Tara Cressida Frances Williams who was born on the 24th September. Who ? ? you ask... well, she is better known as Finty Williams.

Finty is the daughter of actors Michael Williams and Dame Judi Dench. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, graduating in 1994 and has appeared in a number of British films, frequently alongside Dame Judi. Finty has also played many roles in the theatre and on television.

Her Silksoundbooks audio book Evelina, in which she stars once again with her mother Dame Judi Dench has been at the top of our best sellers list since it was recorded.

Finty and Dame Judi are joined by Geoffrey Palmer in this unabridged audiobook of Frances Burney’s wickedly funny novel.
