Five actresses will play the Queen of England in a new television drama series exploring the events of her reign.

Silksoundbooks star audio book reader Emilia Fox leads the cast of the Chanel 4 series as the Queen in 1955.

Samantha Bond , another of our star audio book readers will play the Queen in the second programme set in the 1970's.

Actresses Susan Jameson, Barbara Flynn and Diana Quick each take the part in subsequent episodes, bringing the story up to 2005.
