
Opening today in cinemas in the UK, Creation is based on Randal Keynes biography of his great-great-grandfather Charles Darwin.
Creation is set in the mid-1800s and stars Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connelly and Silksoundbooks Star audio book reader Jeremy Northam. The movie examines the life of naturalist Charles Darwin and the strain his marriage undergoes when his evolutionary theories clash with his wife's religious beliefs.
The film was chosen to open the Toronto Film Festival and was developed by BBC Films and the UK Film Council.
