Hugh Bonneville began his acting career in theatre, joining The National Theatre in 1987 and The Royal Shakespeare Company in 1990, where he played Laertes to Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet.  His recent television credits include Five Days, Lost In Austen and Downton Abbey. He became familiar to audiences worldwide in films such as Mansfield Park, Iris and Notting Hill.
