Hugh Bonneville’s career started in theatre
joining The National in 1987 and then The Royal Shakespeare Company where he
played Laertes to Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet. His television credits include hos
excellent portrayal of BBC Director General Sir Hugh Carleton Greene in the BBC production Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story and Bonekickers .He became familiar to audiences
worldwide in films such as Mansfield Park, Iris and Notting
Hill.
