James Cosmo was born in Clydebank, Scotland in 1948 the son of actor James Copeland.
His many film roles include Battle Of Britain, Highlander, Trainspotting, Braveheart, The Reckoning and The Adventures Of Greyfriars Bobby.
His television credits include Sutherland’s Law, Survivors, The Sweeney, Minder, Rebus, Roughnecks and Midsomer Murders.
His love of his native Scotland has led him to engineer various
projects including Scotland’s first film studio in Inverness and a film
about poet and national hero Robert Burns.
